Today on Autism Live, Shannon talks with Dr. Paul Wang, Autism Speaks' senior vice president and head of medical research, about the ground breaking initiative Autism Speaks has launched to further research into the brain-gut connection.  Dr. Wang discusses the importance of further research in GI issues in regards to Autism.  Matt Asner, the Executive Director of the Southern California Chapter of Autism Speaks shares some of the events they are prepping for Autism Awareness Month including Light Up the Blues, Light it Up Blue events, the Los Angles Walk and a number of sporting events sponsored by area baseball, basketball and hockey teams!
