Putting Foreign Objects in his Ears
My son is 13 y/o & has been putting foreign object in
his ears. I assumed he is bored & need this extra sensory input. He
likes to put the volume of his iPad so loud & scratch his ears
after. We’ve been in & out of the hospital to get it removed
because he needed to be sedated for this. Badly needed help
pls.

Emotions Like Embarrassment

advanced emotion like embarrassment. I am using SKILLS. What are
the prerequisite skills required to teach this advanced emotion?
thanks.
40:08 where can I start now
that he is 19?
This is for next time Dr. Doreen is on :) I've been
listening to your podcast for a while and I'm almost depressed that
it wasn't around when my son was small. He 19 now and I'm
starting to feel regret that I never tried the interventions you
talk about back when he was first diagnosed. I think I put all our
eggs in one basket with the school therapies. (ABA OT Speech)
My question is where can I start now that he is 19? How would I
find someone to help guide us in Worcester, MA... central
Massachusetts? Is there a registry of Doctors that can help? Do we
start with gf/cf? I know you can't give individual advice but in
general, is that where people would try to start? Thanks so much
for any input! Also, thank you for all that you do!

47:55 Does a diagnosis from UAE
qualify for services in the USA?
Hi Dr. Doreen, I will be moving to Chicago from UAE
soon. I would like to know if a diagnosis from UAE qualifies for
services in the USA or we have to get in line again.
If not, can when pay for a private diagnosis in USA and not get
in line? I will be getting insurance with Cigna.
